Available in a 19", 3U rack-mountable chassis, and powered by a high-performance Intel P4 CPU, the various models in the NAS-4300 series are able to meet the requirements for the ever increasingly demanding requirements of the most technology-sensitive business environment.

New Vision Television has 5 teams responsible for gathering information on various kinds of events such as political, social, financial, entertainment and sports news. Each journalist has to edit and compile the contents of his/her article through a non-linear editing platform and save it to digital centers either for broadcasting during the day or for using in a future program production. However, large multimedia files require extremely high levels of storage capacity. How to ensure data availability and maintain platform performance in the mean time has become a critical issue.

The recent installation of IEI's NAS-4300, equipped with a powerful P4-2.4GHz processor and 512 MB of cache RAM, as well as dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and a high storage capacity of up to 2TB, ensured that New Vision's needs were completely covered. In addition, with remote replication, tape backup and UPS support, the NAS-4300 provides stability and performance coupled with user features that are usually only found on the most high-end (and expensive) NAS products.
